Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, April 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Helen Carolyn Schuttler, age 90, of Indianapolis, formerly of Monticello. Passed away, Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 2:50 a.m. at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born October 30, 1917 in Greenwood to the the late Dr. J. Stephen Malloy and the late Mary P.(Dwyer)Malloy. She married Richard L. Schuttler on January 28, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN. He passed away July of 1991. Mrs. Schuttler moved to Monticello in 1957. Mrs. Schuttler and her husband owned and operated Terrace Gardens Restaurant for 13 years. She was a bookkeeper for a car dealership in Monticello before her retirement. She loved playing bridge and reading. She played in Monticello bridge club until she was 89, and continued to read until her recent illness. Mrs. Schuttler was living at Green Tree at Ft. Harrison assisted living, where she enjoyed organizing the library, shopping and lunch outings, and spending time with her family members. Helen celebrated her 90th birthday with family in Indianapolis and flew to Chattanooga, TN to spend Thanksgiving with her nephew, Dr. William Dwyer and his family before her recent illness. She missed Monticello and the many friends she had made there over the last 50 years, and still considered it "home" She is survived by her: Step Son, Kenneth L. Schuttler Several Nieces and Nephews 3 Grandsons, Mark Schuttler, Keith Schuttler, Brian Schuttler 2Great Grandchildren: Craig Schuttler and Sara Coleman 5 Great Great Grandchildren, Tyler Schuttler, Dylan Schuttler, Andrew Coleman, Alex Coleman,Natalie Schuttler She is preceded in Death by her Parents, Husband and Half Brothers, Marvin,Percy, Harry, Frank and Philip; Half Sisters, Emily, Blanche, Marion.
