Gary W. German, 63, of Monticello, passed away at 11:09 am, Sunday, August 22, 2021 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born on August 18, 1958 in Monticello to the late Donald and Joyce (Hartke) German.
Gary was a life long Lutheran.
Gary graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1976 and received his bachelor degree in Construction Management from Purdue University in 1989. His first job was working with his father at Miller Mechanical in Monticello. After graduation, he worked as a senior project manager for Rudolph & Sletten, Inc. in California for many years and later worked for Turner Construction in Indianapolis. He was highly respected in his chosen profession. He enjoyed managing his investments. He especially cherished time with his family.
He is survived by his ex-wife and life long friend, Kelley (Jones) German of Westfield; children, Adam (Carolyn) German of Chesterfield, Amy German of Westfield; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Anthony German; brother, Mark (Christine) German of Monticello; two nieces, Jennifer (Jason) Martin of Ft. Wayne, Annie Foglesong of Monticello; great nephews, Nolan, Brock, Wyatt, and Ty.
Graveside services will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Keller officiating.
