Gail Lee Latta,54, of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10:43am at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette, IN. She was born March 2, 1954 in Gary, Indiana to Homer C. Scott and Genevieve (Frazier) Scott. Gail worked for Mama Connies for over 13 years. She was also a waitress for many restaurants in the area. Gail especially loved her boss Frankie. She loved to sing, karoke, and play the guitar. She enjoyed playing with her grandkids. She is survived by her: 2 Daughters, Tonya Latta of Monticello, IN Genevieve Latta of Monticello, IN. Son, Scott Latta of Monticello, IN. Mother, Genevieve Scott of Monticello, IN Grandmother, Audrey Nicholls of Crown Point, IN. 2 Granddaughters, Cobra Latta of Monticello, IN, Asia'h Latta of Monticello, IN, and by Aunts and Uncles. She was preceded in death by her Father Homer C. Scott Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will take place at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 26, 2008, 7PM with Elmer Embry, Jr. Officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
