Frances 'Fran' Morton

Frances "Fran" Morton, 67, of Monticello died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at her residence. She was born April 26, 1942 at Chicago to the late John and Helen (Holman) Schmidt. Her marriage was to Earl Morton in August of 1985 at Elmhurst, Illinois. He preceded her in death. Fran was a member of the Twin Lakes Southern Baptist Church. Until her retirement, she worked as a secretary at Food Finders, Lafayette. Survivors include a daughter, Valerie (Mario) Caso of Monticello; 3 sons, Richard Ellinger of Chicago, Tom (Deanna) Morton of Rockford Illinois, Bill Morton of Rockford Illinois; brother, Peter (Anna) Schmidt of Knoxville Tennessee; and 6 Grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by two brothers. A memorial service will be at 6 pm, Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Twin Lakes Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Ross Terry officiating. Memorial donations may be given to the Twin Lakes Southern Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church. Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
