Loretta "Faye" Russow, 86, of Mulberry, formerly of Lafayette and Idaville, died at 9 am, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Mulberry Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Mulberry. She was born October 15, 1926 in Hunter, Arkansas to the late Herbert and Delphia (Stonger) Tuttle. She first married Lloyd Triplett and he died in WWII. She married Herbert Guthrie and they divorced. She then married Frederick "Tubs" Russow and he preceded her in death. She worked as a beautician in Monticello and owned two beauty shops in Lafayette for a number of years. She was very active with the American Legion Auxiliary in Florida where she served as President, Vice President, and also as chaplain. She was a member of the Elks also in Florida. She had many different interests including fishing and crafts, especially making jewelry. She even worked on cars. She enjoyed motorcycles and snowmobiles, and once had a five-seater Skii Doo Snowmobile. She is survived by her children, Curtis R. Triplett of Dayton, Anita (Dugald) Livingston, of Cornwall, Canada, and Wayne (Micki) Guthrie of Lafayette; sister, Kathleen LaRiza of Vacaville, California; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death a brother, Lester; sisters, Eileen and Oladean. Visitation will be from1 pm until the time of services at 3 pm, Wednesday, February 27 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Dodson of the Monticello Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Idaville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the White County Food Pantry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
