Elizabeth Mcmasters

Elizabeth M. McMasters, 79, of Delphi, Indiana, formerly of Monticello, Indiana died at 5:55 amTuesday, July 20, 2010, at St Elizabeth Health Care of Delphi. She was born August 30, 1930, in Gasglow, KY to the late Joe and Ethel (Anderson) Huckelby. Her marriage was to Wayne A. McMasters on April 17, 1948 at Watseka, IL, and he preceded her in death January 31, 1981. During her younger years, she worked at the Carr Cabinet Factory in Frankfort. She later worked as an in-home caregiver. She is survived by twins, Paul (Beverly) McMasters of Lafayette, and Pauline Connley of West Lafayette; a son, Joseph (Joetta) McMasters of Delphi; a sister, Betty Lomax of Hoopeston, IL; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Dearul and Harlie Huckelby. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Friday at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Funeral services will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Zachary Rainey, Hospice Chaplin for Southern Care. Buril will be private.
