Elaine Homan

Elaine L. Homan, 57, of Monticello, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at I U Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on April 29, 1964 in Lafayette to the late William and Pattie (Jeffers) Trueblood. On June 4, 1994, she married Kevin Homan in Lafayette and he survives.
Elaine worked for CDC for 17 years and also worked as a private caregiver. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking and was known for her meatloaf and homemade noodles. She liked playing games on her phone, especially Candy Crush. Elaine cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by seven children, Brian Foltz of Monticello, Pattie Foltz of Monticello, Melissa Simpson of Lafayette, Wendy Leming of Lafayette, David Homan of Lafayette, Kimberly Partlow of Lafayette, Breanna Wessell of Lafayette; siblings, Kellie Simmons of Monticello, and Carlos Trueblood of KY.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Homan; and siblings, Joe, David, Ray, and Billy Trueblood.
Private services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Reynolds.
Memorial contributions may be paid to the funeral home to help the family offset expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
