Edna Ruth Conrad

Edna R. Conrad, 94, of Monticello died at 6:05 pm, Thursday, November 25, 2010 at Whispering Pines of Monticello. She was born January 7, 1916 in White County to the late George and Leona (Goss) Cochran. Her marriage was to Sidney E Conrad on June 23, 1935 in White County. He preceded her in death in April of 1986. Mrs. Conrad was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Church formerly of Reynolds and later attended Sitka Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Jim (Barb) Conrad of Monticello, Sidney M. Conrad of Monticello; sisters, Myrtle Fitzs of Peru, Mabel Geisler of Rochester; two grandchildren: and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm, Monday, November 29, at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview I.O.O.F.
