Edna "Renie" Emrich, 85, of Monticello formerly of Reynolds, died at 1:58 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born August 1, 1926 to the late William Henry and Edna May (Johnson) Boyd. Her marriage was to Marto Lewis "Red" Emrich on November 30, 1946 in Carpentersville, IL. He preceded her in death January 30, 2007. She was a homemaker. She had also worked at Blasted Works. She had been a member of the VFW and AmVets Women's Auxiliaries. She is survived by 3 daughters, Natalie M. (Larry) Hawk of West Lebanon, Karen L. Needham of Witchata, Kansas, Jeannie L. Segal of Reynolds; son, Wally (Jan) Emrich of Reynolds; sister, Vivivan Guge of Carpentersville, IL; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Chuck Reese, Robert Aldis, Bill Aldis and Tom Aldis; a sister, Lenora Ross; baby sister, Mary June; grandson, William Emrich; son-in-laws, Don Needham and Tim "Froggie" Segal. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of services at 1pm, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Springer Voorhis-Draper-Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Knepp of the Reynolds United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in Lafayette.
