Edith O. Million, 93, of Mesquite, Texas, formerly of Monticello died early Monday, April 12, 2010 at Royse City Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Royse City, Texas. She was born August 23, 1916 at Rockport, Indiana to the late George and Maude Mackey (Melton) Allgood. She married Perry P. Million on January 10, 1959 at Alexandria, Indiana. She was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church and a currently a member of Zion Bethel Church. She was a member of the Jefferson Township Home Economics Club. She lived on a farm in Jefferson Township located in Carroll County from 1959 until moving to Monticello in 1982. She moved to Texas in 1996 and resided at the Christian Care Center in Mesquite, Texas. Survivors include a son, Duane (Rhonda) Rogers of Royse City, Texas; daughter, Mae Jean (Clovis) Smith of Frankfort.; 2 step sons, David L. Million of Visalia, California, Dale (Lenie) Million of Livingston, Texas; step daughter , Marilyn (George) Zarasua of Fresno, California, 7 grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Also preceding in death is a granddaughter. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 8pm on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 am, Friday, April 16, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Messer of Zion Bethel Church officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, rural Monticello. Memorials may be given to Zion Bethel Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. You may sign the online guestbook at www.springervoorhisdraper.com
