H. Duane Pearson,42, of Monticello, passed away Monday, October 27, 2008, at 12:04 p.m. at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born on October 5, 1966 in Monticello to the late Thomas Pearson and the late Sharon L. (Hughes) Pearson-Elliott. Survivors include: Son, Micheal Ringley of Lebanon, IN; Daughter, Amanda Ringley of Monticello, IN; Step-Father, Pee Wee Elliott of Monticello, IN; Sister, Rhonda (Johnny) Cabrera of Idaville, IN; and three grandchildren. Preceded in Death: He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon L. Pearson-Elliott; Father, Thomas Pearson; and 2 Sisters. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Friday, October 31 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home Funeral Services will be at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Saturday, November 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mearl Hodges officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, rural Monticello. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
