Denise "Tweedy" Tufts

Tweedy (Denise) L. Tufts (Nee Baddeley) age 72 of Monticello, Indiana passed away on September 4, 2024.

Beloved wife of Arthur. Loving mother of Nickolas (Christine) Tufts and Samantha (Eric) Sexton. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin, Daphne and Delilah. Fond sister of the late Reid Baddeley and the late Scott (Tammy) Baddeley. Aunt of many wonderful nieces and nephews. 

Tweedy grew up in Lansing, IL where she met and married Art Tufts in 1970. Together, they raised their two children, Nick and Sam. Tweedy was a devoted “Nana” who loved spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, quilter, and gardener. Tweedy loved living on the lake and watching wildlife. She was a proud member of the Crete Woman’s Club.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 am EST at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Deacon Michael Booth officiating
