Deborah A. Carnahan, 61, of Monticello passed away at 8:48 pm, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her residence.She was born on April 13, 1955 in Chicago to the late Lloyd Minger and Mary (Formoso) Minger who survives. On July 12, 1985 in Monticello, she married Lloyd F. Carnahan and he survives.She was a 1973 graduate of twin Lakes High School. She worked as a real estate broker and also worked in the pro shop at Pineview Golf Course.She was a member of our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where she was a member of the St. Elizabeth Altar and Rosary Sodality.She was an avid golfer and was a member of the Pineview Golf Course Ladies League. She enjoyed all crafts especially sewing and knitting. She enjoyed driving her vintage Mercedes. She loved life and above all, she cherished time spent with her friends and family, but most especially, time spent with her grandchildren.In addition to her mother, Mary Minger, and her husband, Lloyd Carnahan both of Monticello, she is survived by her daughter, Lisa (husband, Nicholas) Cosgray of Cincinnati Ohio; stepsons, Ben (wife, Angie) Carnahan of Fishers, Brett Carnahan of Florida; sister, Linda (husband, John) Miller of Monticello; grandchildren, Ava and Isla Cosgray, Zander, Carson, Paige, Tyler, and Kent Carnahan; mother-in-law, Virginia Carnahan of Monticello; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.In addition to her father, Lloyd Minger she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Pearl (Edwards) Minger, and Joseph and Clara (Conatara) Formoso; brother, David Minger; and stepson, Brad Carnahan.Visitation will be on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4 pm until 8 pm at Springer- Voorhis- Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. The Rosary will be prayed at 3:45 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services celebrating Deborahs life will be at 10:30 am, Saturday at the funeral home with Father David Rasner of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church celebrating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the American Cancer Society.
