David Karl Krintz, 46, of Monticello, formerly of Indianapolis died on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Central Hospital in Lafayette. He was born on August 28, 1964 in Monticello to Dick and Katie (Owens) Krintz. They survive in Monticello. He graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1983. He attended Purdue University and was currently attending Martin University in Indianapolis. Mr. Krintz was a floral designer and worked in several different floral shops in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Roberts Park United Methodist Church, Indianapolis where he played in the bell choir and sang in the choir. He also sang in a Chamber group in Indianapolis. He was a spinner and spinned wool every year at the Indiana State fair. He enjoyed music and played several music instruments including the piano, bass and B flat claranets, and also the oboe. He was a former member of the Bach Chorale in Lafayette. He is survived by 3 Brothers, Stan Krintz and companion Terry Cummings of Orlando, FL, Stewart Krintz and companion Joyce Haygood of Wolcott, Douglas (Penny) Krintz of Chalmers; five nieces; two nephews; and one great nephew. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm, Friday, April 1, 2011 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home also 1 hour prior to the funeral service Saturday, at the Monticello United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 am, Saturday, at the Monticello United Methodist Church with Rev. Kim King of Roberts Park United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Riverview I.O.O.F. cemetery in rural Monticello. Memorials may be made to Roberts Park United Methodist Church Music Department.
