Daniel R. Davis

Daniel R. Davis, 64, of Monticello, passed away at 9:45 pm, Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Logansport Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 24, 1953 in Peoria, IL to the late Donald Ray and Lorraine Davis.Daniel was a graduate of East Peoria Community High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.Daniel was the owner and operator of Dan's Davis Brothers Pizza in Creue Coeur, IL. He was a member of the VFW and a proud member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, wood working, playing pool, camping and campfires. He played on a pool league at Jimmy O's. Daniel cherished time spent with his family.He is surviving are his mother, Lorraine Davis of East Peoria, IL; daughter, Patricia "Tricia" (Robert) Hutter of Monticello; sister, Denise Davis of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ashley, Dakota, Nicole, Jerod, Andrew, and Marissa; ten great grandchildren, Carmen, Canann, Addalynne, Tynleigh, Hunter, Jacob Kyle, Bentley, Jaxon, Isaac and Landyn; and his and ex-wife and friend, Leona of Spring Bay, IL.
