Daniel P. Corrigan

Daniel P. Corrigan, 72, of Monticello, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at his residence in Monticello.

He was born on August 21, 1951 in Vestaburg, Pennsylvania to the late John and Anna (Kubicar) Corrigan.

On November 11, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Vicki Strouse. She survives in Monticello.

Daniel was a graduate of Vestaburg High School and California State University. He worked and retired from General Electric.

Daniel was a member of the Tippecanoe County Club, AMVETS and American Legion in Monticello.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, woodworking and traveling.  

Along with his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael (Eliona) Corrigan of Sterling, IL; three daughters, Kate Corrigan of Sterling, IL, Crystal (Adam) Ligda of Crown Point and Angela (Joel) Grable of Columbia City; a brother, Ed Corrigan of Warren, OH and a sister, Joyce Stuart of Dubois, PA; eight grandchildren, Landon, Easton, Oliver Ainsley, Elliot, Gregory, Harrison and Katherine.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by three siblings, Rose, John and Bob.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1:00pm until time of services celebrating Daniel's life at 3:00pm at Zion Bethel Church with Pastor Jeff Messer officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the IU Health Arnett Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church.
