Dale A. Lee

Dale A. Lee, 62, of Reynolds, passed away at 6:30 am, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.He was born on November 3, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late Donald and Katherine (Johnson) Lee. On December 28, 1974, he married Jacqueline "Jackie" Jessie in Monticello and she survives. Dale passed two days before their 41st wedding anniversary.Dale had worked at Monon Trailer and also some other part-time jobs.He loved his daughter, April's pets, gardening, especially tomatoes, and enjoyed reading books on the supernatural. He liked the music of the Beatles, Beach Boys, John Lennon, and Huey Lewis and the News. He liked to joke and imitate actors.His life was centered on his grandson, Tyler, the apple of his eye. Dale, along with the rest of the family, was forever crushed following the bus accident and Tyler's death.He is also survived by daughter, April Lee of Monticello; two half sisters, Carolyn and Marilyn of Indianapolis; and a step granddaughter, Kira Walker of Lafayette.He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Lee, grandson, Tyler Geiger, and son-in-law, David Geiger.Memorial services celebrating Dale's life will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Raderstorf officiating.Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
