Charles Stoner

Charles E. Stoner, 95, of Monticello, passed away at 7:34 am, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at White Oak Health Campus.He was born on November 26, 1922 in Ladoga to the late Curtis and Veda Stoner.After high school, Charlie served in the United States Coast Guard as a Buglar. Charlie received a bachelor degree in dance from the former Putney University out East and attended Butler University. During his years at college, he traveled the East Coast and performed on stage with college companions and performed on Broadway. He was a retired loan officer from State & Savings Bank in Monticello. Following his retirement from State and Savings, he owned a dance studio in Renesselaer and taught many people in White County how to dance. Surviving are many great nieces and nephews and close friends.
