Charles H. Fuller

Charles H. Fuller, 76, Lafayette formerly of Monticello passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 8:25 p.m. at St. Mary Healthcare, Lafayette. He was born May 9, 1931 in Gary, IN to the late Thomas A. Fuller and the late Margaret (Deu)Fuller. His marriage was to the late Frances S. DeLigne on May 9, 1953 in Newark, New Jersey. She passed away May 11, 2000. Mr. Fuller was in the U.S. Navy Reserve and later joined the U.S. Airforce serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired in 1991 after 42 years of service as a gas serviceman for NIPSCO. He was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church. Mr. Fuller was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He had been a Boy Scout Troop Leader. He had been a Union Steward. He enjoyed golf and traveling, and he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include: 3 Daughters, Denise (Richard) Cady of Lafayette, IN, Teresa (Jeff) Speaks of Garfield, AR, Gale Sorrell of Morristown, TN 4 Sons, Thomas (Teresa) Fuller of Bloomington, IN, Keith (Wanda) Fuller of Monticello, IN, Glen (Sally) Fuller of Wilmington, Delaware, Ronald Fuller of Knoxville, TN 2 Sisters, Sharon (Charles) Hobbic of Munster, IN, Eleanor Kanzler of Rensselaer, IN; 1 Brother, John Fuller of IL. 18 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, wife, brother, M. Thomas Fuller, and sister, Martha Zenci. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home , Friday, December 7, 2007, 10 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Raderstorf officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rural Monticello. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, or to the American Cancer Society.
