Calvin C. Wright

Calvin C. Wright, 82, of Monticello, died at 2:30am on Friday, September 30, 2011 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born February 13, 1929 in White County to the late Glen and Frieda (Eisenman) Wright. His marriage was to Delorus "Dee" Baer on Nov.30, 1947 in Idaville. She survives in Monticello. He was a 1947 grauduate of Idaville High School., Mr. Wright was a member of the Monticello United Methodist church. He was a life long farmer. Mr. Wright was a Twin Lakes Sports fan and backer. He loved and honored his wife of 64 years and cherished his family. He is survived by 3 Daughters, Jackie (Raul) Martinez of Garden Grove, CA, Judy Murphy of Plymouth, Jonell (Bill) McGovern of Idaville; Son, Mike (Patti) Wright of Monticello; Sister, Lydia (Bill) Parrish of Idaville; 10 granchildren, 12 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Everett, Paul, Wilbur, Charles and Dale Wright; sister, Belle Godlove; grandson, Tim McGovern and son-in-law, Brent Murphy Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm, Monday, October 3 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 4 at 12pm with Rev. Brian Beeks officiating. Burial will follow at Idaville Cemetery.
