Betty Jean Ford, 61, of Monticello, spread her angel wings at 11:57 am on Monday September 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1959 to the late Robert Pearson and Betty (Sigman) Pearson Cooper. She married Kevin Ford on May 22, 2010 and he proceeded her in death.
Betty was a 1976 graduate of Twin Lakes High School. She continued her education at Ivy Tech for Nursing for a short time before deciding to take a break from schooling to raise her family. She worked at Monon Trailer for 18 years. After leaving Monon Trailer, Betty went back to school and fulfilled her dream of completing her nursing degree. She has since worked in various areas of the healthcare industry, most recently in Florida.
Betty had a big heart for anyone in need. She loved to help people and devoted her time and energy as a caregiver to friends and family. She loved to laugh and had an amazing sense of humor. She enjoyed cooking, watching TV, following her Cubbies, and reading her VC Andrews books. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her children, Rachel (Jeff) Driver of Kokomo, Tony Wiseley of Columbus, Brian Wiseley of Monticello; her siblings, Ed (Bonita) Pearson of Arkansas, Rowena (Ken) Back of Stonewall Mississippi, Peggy Sue (Willis) York of Kokomo, Fred Pearson of Monticello; her grandchildren, Cody (Kylee) Driver of Indianapolis, Kirsten Driver of Carmel, and great grandson Stanley Driver.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Charles, and husband Kevin.
No services will be held at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
