Arthur "Art" Segal, 85, of Reynolds, died at 5:04 pm, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 9, 1925 at Lafayette to the late Arthur and Ila (Gellenbeck) Segal Sr. He married Norma Jean Fulks June 1, 1946. She preceded him in death December 11, 2000. On May 18, 2002, he married the former Lucille Clark and she survives. Art was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. He was the founder of Segal's Delta Trucking Inc. of Reynolds and also of Segal's Sand and Gravel of Delphi. He was a member of the Moose and Eagles of Monticello. He was a member of the American Legion, AMVETS, and the VFW all of Monticello. He was also a member of the 40 & 8 of Lafayette. He enjoyed camping and traveling, especially to Florida. He is also survived by a son, Dave (Connie) Segal of Monon; daughter, Christine (Larry) Roudebush of Reynolds; daughter-in-laws, Jeanette Segal of Reynolds, Letitia Barrett of Reynolds; stepsons, Mike (Vicki) Clark of Burnettsville, Danny (Connie) Clark of Hot Springs, Arkansas, David (Tisha) Clark of Monticello; twenty-one grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by a brother and sister; and two sons, Edgar "Ed" and Tim "Froggie" Segal. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm, Wednesday, June 2, at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. A Moose service will be conducted at 7 pm. Funeral services will be at 10 am, Thursday, at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Dodson officiating. Full military rites will follow the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery, Lafayette. Memorials may be given to benefit the children of Moose Heart. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
