Arnold L. Ruemler

Arnold L. "Arnie" Ruemler, 82, of Reynolds, passed away at 12:10 am, Monday, August 28, 2017 at White Oak Health Campus.He was born on June 30, 1935 in Reynolds to the late Fred and Lottie (Hays) Ruemler. On October 1, 1985, in Honolulu, HI he married the former Edythe (Dugan) Price and she survives.He was a graduate of Reynolds High School and a Veteran of the United States Army. Arnie was a well known finish carpenter and was a former partner with Voigt Construction, but later went out on his own as an independent finish carpenter until his retirement. He was a life member of St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, traveling, and cherished time spent with his family. In addition to his wife, Edythe he is survived by three stepsons, Roger Price, Randy (Terry) Price, Rick (Terri) Price all of Monticello; brothers, Glenn Ruemler of Reynolds, Art (Donna) Ruemler of Otterbein; three step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.Also preceding him in death were brothers, Fred Jr., Robert, and Norman Ruemler; and sister, Virginia Weston.Memorial funeral services celebrating Arnie's life will be at Noon (EDT), Saturday, September 2, 2017 at St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds with Rev. Charles Blakey officiating.Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.Private burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Reynolds at a later date.Memorial contributions may be given to St. James Lutheran Church or to the church daycare with envelopes available at the church.Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello is entrusted with care.Messages of condolence may be extended at www.springerfuneralhome.com
