Anne C. Heims

Anne C. Heims, 95, of Monon, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at IU Health North Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born on December 18, 1925 in Thornton, IL to the late George and Amanda (Simotavich) Bozich. On November 8, 1947 she married Hillis Fern Heims at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Reynolds. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2012.
Anne was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Reynolds, where she taught Catechism Classes for 17 years. Her family owned Monon Crushed Stone Company, where she served as vice-president. Anne enjoyed playing BINGO and going to garage sales.
Surviving are her daughters, Madelyn (Bill) Dowell of Lafayette and Patty (Tom) Brown of Fort Myers, FL; four grandchildren, Tammy (Ted) Morgan, Michael Ellrich, Tom (Kari) Brown, Jr., and Christopher (Penny) Brown; four great grandchildren, Dakota (Dr. Rick) Means, Bentley Brown, Colin Brown and Gordon Brown and one great-great grandson, Church Means.
She was also preceded in death by siblings, Mary Mrzlack, Katie Leader, Eva Garry, Jospehine Cyprys, Jack Bozich, George Bozich, Jr. and Nick Bozich.
Private graveside services will be in Bedford Cemetery with Fr. Alejandro Paternoster officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Monon Volunteer Fire Department or the White County Council on Aging.
