Anna Hogrefe

Anna May Hogrefe, 91, of Monticello, passed away at 4:00 am, Monday, February 26, 2018 at her residence.She was born on May 5, 1926 in Carroll County to the late Lewis and Dorothy (Arion) Pritts. On September 3, 1947 she married Martin Hogrefe in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on February 26,1985.She was a 1945 graduate of Adams Township High School.Anna managed the Southside Laundry for many years.She enjoyed time at home and time spent with her family. Surviving are her children, George (Rita) Hogrefe of Shoals, Mary (Kenneth) McLeland of Logansport, and Paul (Jeanna) Hogrefe of Monticello; siblings, Mary (Jim) Byrkett of Logansport, Tom (Laurine) Pritts of Burnettsville, Ed Pritts of Burnettsville, and Helen Howard of Dowagiac, MI; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Riddle; sister-in-law Beverly Pritts; and brother-in-law Estel Howard.Visitation will be on Friday March 2, 2018, from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm celebrating Anna's life at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Rev.
