Anjanette 'Angie' Gedcus

Anjanette "Angie" Gedcus, 53, of Monticello, passed away at 6:55am on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on January 25, 1967 in Monticello to the late John and Connie (Reynolds) Gedcus, Jr.
Angie was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School. She worked at Whispering Pines Nursing Home as a CNA for a number of years until she was forced to retire after her heart attack. She enjoyed playing darts, riding her moped, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her longtime companiton, David Burtis of Monticello; her daughters, Alison Gedcus of Monticello, Kayla Gedcus (fiance, Sarah Chase) of Peru, and Hope Daiz of Monticello; six grandchildren, Joeleen, Fernando, Donaven, Chloe, Jakiah and Zoey.
In keeping with Angie's wishes, all services are private.
