Angeline "Angie" Madson, 90, of Monticello passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 5:15 a.m. at Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center. She was born February 16, 1918 in Gary, IN to the late Domenico Covelli and the late Esther (Auippo) Covelli. Her marriage was to Bernard H. Madson on July 27, 1946 in Gary, IN. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1986. She was a 1936 graduate of Frable High School, Gary, IN. Mrs. Madson was a homemaker. She lived in Monticello since 1973, coming from Glen Park, IN. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Monticello where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Sodility. During the WWII she was active in the USO. She had been an active participant of the White County Council on Aging. She was a member of the Monticello Chapter Women of the Moose, Ladies Auxillary of the V.F.W, and the William Paca Lodge Logansport. Survivors include: 3 Sons, Alex J. Madson of Marshall, IN, Donald Bernard Madson of Monticello, Matthew (Tam) Madson of Renessaler. Sister-in-Law, Betty Covelli of Lake Station, IN 13 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Brothers: Frank and Ross Covelli; Sisters: Francis Glorioso, Mary Povlinski, infant sister, Louise Covelli; and Daughter-in-law: Linda Madson Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. (EDT) Friday, April 11, 2008 at Springer Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at 4 (EDT) p.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church , Saturday, April 12, 2008, 10:30 a.m.(EDT) with Father Gerald Borawski officiating.
