Amber L. Rogers

Amber Lillian Rogers, 89, passed away at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born Amber Lillian Hanson on August 1st, 1925 to the late Halder and Lovilla (Longway)Hanson in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Amber loved dogs, playing canasta, watching TV, playing the penny slots, angels, reading and coffee with her friends, but the love of her life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She survived the great depression, World War II and 15 incompetent Presidents. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed but her family is comforted by the knowledge she now rests with God and loved ones that left this earthly world before her. She leaves here on earth three children; Martin (Kathy) Rogers Jr., Dorothy (Bill) Frayer and Joseph (Gayle) Rogers, 6 grandchildren; Tommy Rogers, Andy Rogers, Billy Frayer, Amy Frayer, Jackie Kosloske & Amanda Jack, 13 great grandchildren and good friend Mary Murphy. Amber is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Wayne, Carl, Wallace and Gerald and her ex-husband Martin Rogers. Graveside Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Bedford cemetery in Monon. Memorial contributions may be given to the Happy Tails.
