Alvin Korkos

Alvin (Al) Korkos age 82, of Monticello, raised in Chicago, formally of Lansing Illinois passed away Thursday, January 8th, 2015 surrounded by family. Alvin is survived by his wife of 56 years , Eleanor (nee Pala); children: Madalena Hoover and Paul Korkos; granddaughter Kalyn Hoover, along with many special family members and friends. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army during the Korean Era and is a recipient of the Purple Heart. Alvin had a true love of his family and was most happy in their presence or when visiting with his many friends. He is truly loved by all and will be deeply missed! A celebration of his Life will be private. Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
