Aileen D. Hickman

Aileen D. Hickman, 83, of Monticello died at 5:53 pm, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Home Hospital, Lafayette. She was born February 25, 1926 at Joliet, Illinois to the late J.J. and H. Maurine (Allen) Thayer Her marriage was to Glenn H. Hickman on November 8, 1946 at Elkhart, Indiana and he survives. Aileen Graduated High School in Battle Creek Michigan, and attended the University of Michigan. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed life and loved her family Other survivors include: 2 Sons, David E. (Jacquelyn) Hickman of Monticello, Joe (Gilda) Hickman of Monticello; Daughter, Jane (Steve) Johnson of Monticello; 5 grandchildren, Greta (John) Dutton of Zionsville, Bartley Hickman of Monticello, Laura, Anna, and Sam Johnson all of Monticello; and 2 great-granddaughters, Kate and Abby Dutton of Zionsville. She is preceded in death by her brother Allen Thayer. Private family services will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 with Rev. Chris Dodson of the Monticello Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery, rural Monticello. Memorials may be given to the White County Food Pantry, P.O. Box 323, Monticello, IN 47960 or to Riley Childrens Foundation, 30 S.
